Today the Dakota Chapter of Pheasants Forever hosted a youth pheasant hunt beginning with some classroom training provided by Pheasants Forever North Dakota on conservation, upland birds and hunting safety. Then a quick lunch and a short trip to our hunting location.
Our youth hunters had moderate success given some challenging weather with above average Oct temps and wind. But they gained some great experience hunting behind dogs and with others in the field.
